The ones that you just can't live without. 

The people that have taught you how to party.

 How to live. How to rule. How to smile.

 How to have a good time just sitting around. 

Here are to the one that no matter how bad things seem,
 are going to be there for you.

 To lean back on then catch you if you fall.

and no matter who you are she would always be there for you.

They may talk of a comet, or a burning mountain, or some such bagatelle; 

but to me a modest woman, dressed out in all her finery,

 is the most tremendous object of the whole creation.
